Being left-handed in the guitar world is quite problematic most of the time since you can’t quite find all the models of the guitars you want to buy with a left-handed setup. I know that it can be frustrating, since I have had tons of students that couldn’t find the models that they desired and had to opt for different models, and even if you manage to find the model that you want in the left-handed version, most of those are quite expensive compared to the standard editions.

The issue gets even more prominent if you are searching for a left-handed classical guitar, since there is a limited selection for classical guitars in the market, due to the demand not being as high as for the normal acoustic models. However, with a bit of research, you can discover some of the top left handed classical guitars in the market. Today I am going to reveal the best left handed classical guitars in the market, handpicked by me, based on my prior experience, countless hours of research and tons of user feedback. Without further ado let’s get on with it.

The 3 Best Left-Handed Classical Guitars

3. Stagg C546LH

We are going to start this off with an interesting nylon string model coming on from Stagg, the C546LH. The company is well known for delivering one of the best budget models in the market, and it was pretty surprising to see that the company delivered a left-handed classical model in its lineup, I tested it and I can say that it is pretty good.

I can say that the Stagg C546LH is a pretty well-built guitar for its budget price and the instrument has all the things that a left-handed player would want as it is pretty optimized for the purpose. It has the traditional classical guitar shape that is pretty playable and comfortable to play.

It is built from basswood on the back and sides, has a spruce top and has a high-gloss finish all-around, giving it a pretty beautiful appearance. The fretboard is made out of a black stained maple and it is pretty playable, on top of that it has a standard nut width. I love spruce top guitars, and this is one of the main reasons why i included this guitar in this list!

In terms of hardware, it is pretty standard except the Lyra golden machine heads, that deliver some excellent looks, on top of their reliability.

This guitar may be a budget guitar, however, it is ready to play right from the get-go and the sounds came out just right to be honest. Of course, the laminated body brought out some hollowness and not as much liveliness, but at the budget price of this instrument, you can get away with it. Definitely a great nylon string guitar.

2. Cordoba C5-CE Left Handed

The runner up on this list I have the Cordoba C5-CE, the left-handed version of this cutaway classical guitar model. It is an electro-acoustic model that will deliver amazing value for the price and I think that every buyer will be extremely impressed with the features and performance of this amazing guitar. For a pretty attractive price, this lefty guitar will fit the bill.

First off I have to say that this guitar looks extremely good, and it is seriously one of the best looking classical models I have ever seen while still keeping those traditional classical lines that we are fans off. Let’s say that the construction of this Cordoba has signs of quality all over it and I don’t think that anyone would complain about the build quality and craftsmanship of this product, just top of the class without any doubt.

Speaking about tonewoods, the Cordoba C5-CE has a pretty amazing selection here, coming in with solid Canadian cedar on tp, and mahogany on the back and sides, that are responsible for rich tone and amazing presence overall. Moving on the neck is made out of solid mahogany as well, meaning that it will deliver tons of sustain, and detail as well. The cutaway design and the slimmer neck of this guitar will allow you to play this guitar effortlessly and have access to every note whenever you wish. The rosewood fretboard combined with the bridge of the same material just takes things to another level, superb in every way.

In terms of hardware and electronics, the Cordoba C5-CE is pretty capable of delivering plenty, since it is packed with a built-in Fishman Isys+ pickup system, that will deliver you great tones when plugged. These pickups will allow you to perform excellently on stage, and if you want to record they will deliver the best quality. The strings are also top of the class coming in from Savarez Cristal Corum, the high tensions 500CJ’s and the tuning machines are good as well. On top of all this, the Cordoba C5-CE will come with a gig bag, a tuner, a stand, and a cloth for keeping the glossy surface shining at all times.

Moving on I should say that the Cordoba C5-CE sounds just perfect, and you won’t notice any weak points. I should say that passively the tonewoods do a perfect job every time, and when plugged in even without tweaking things it sounds just marvelous. If you want a solid classical left-handed guitar, the Cordoba C5-CE is one of the best nylon string guitar that won’t break the bank.

This amazing guitar is made out of everything premium right from the materials, craftsmanship, and many more. This guitar will deliver tons of balance, lots of volume, superb tone, and while it is a little expensive guitar, it will be worth every cent you pay for it.

This is a beautiful guitar, coming in with the traditional classical guitar shape, with everything so well put together, so I can pretty much say that it is flawless. It has an amazing glossy polyurethane finish on its body and its hand-inlaid Mother-of-Pearl Esteso rosette just makes this guitar look worth much more than it already is. To add to the value of this guitar comes with a molded guitar case that will keep this valued item very well intact all the time.

The attention to detail does not stop there however since this guitar has amazing tonewood selection that makes this classical guitar sound perfect. To give its complexity and detail it is packed with a solid Canadian cedar top that is combined with Indian rosewood on the back and sides to deliver a solid base for the materials.
